my development for the elements in FLASH

This is the developed version of Burger typo image

Different version of sunglasses
but developed into ...

The sunglasses were too angled so I changed into rounded shapes which looks more ilk a sunglasses.

going to use these kind of patterns for backgrounds. There may be in different colors but I just wanted to show in squares because it is about Union Square. And For Flash I used a song called

"babu babu" which is a song in a original sound track in a korean drama.
This song sounds kinda jazzy and playful at the same time so I wanted to use this song for my flash motion graphic.

brainstorming for textual contents and logo

my first draft of textual contents .... I divided them into four parts which is the
"Meet Me Here" part and
The shopping part and
The eating part and
the logo

For the four parts I narrowed it down to 3 sentences which is
" Meet me here"
"Try some shake shack burger"
"Have Fun Shopping"
logo

My first draft of the story board

There are too many things going on and all of this won't show within 10 seconds so I narrowed it down
into the main 4 parts.

The logo development

My professor for digital design class gave me some feedbacks and told me how to dramatically transform the logos step by step so I brainstormed and tried a lot of experimental things and these are the steps that I want to show. They are final two of those brainstormed ideas.

The first draft of Story Board and some Logos

The concept is that union square is a gathering point for new comers/ local people/ any people in all kinds of events.

It has basically everything including shopping malls, cafe, restaurants, residents, parks. So It is a perfect place for the new comers to adapt to NYC life more easily. It is good place to be a meeting point since you can do anything here.

Exploring Union Square

Union Square is a transportation hub.

My favorite restaurants in Union Square. The first one is Vietnamese restaurant named Saigon Market and Thai restaurant named The Spice. It was my first time eating with rice so I felt much better from being homesick :)

Max Brenner - the place we can eat dishes with chocolates in it. I love the chocolate pizza and some fondues and it is always crowded with tourists so it's better to come a little bit early.
Some artworks displayed for selling in Union Square. It is a good chance to look at the variety of artworks from different artists and if you actually want to own it? then you can purchase it as well.

Some street performances.

Abraham Lincoln Statue. There are four main statues in the Union Square and this is one of them.

Gandhi statue, which was erected in the 117th anniversary of Gandhi's birth.
George Washington Staute, which was the first statue to be erected in NYC.
